After a year of trying to take small steps to be a more ethical, Kingdom-minded consumer, I have that fire in my bones again, and I’m taking steps to further educate myself on a few issues. Here are the books I’ve either checked out from the library or have ordered on half.com.
There is a 100% chance you will be hearing about these issues here in the future.
Consider yourself warned:).

Looking forward to it, Kim!

P.S. Speaking of people hearing from you, how about writing a guest post for my site?

This is off topic from the books you mentioned, but I have FINALLY started reading “The Tangible Kingdom.” (Tommy read it first and now we are reading it together and discussing our answers to the questions at the end of each chapter.) So far, the ideas are very good. I guess the common denominator between that and your social justice books is that people matter. We try to put other things (money, tradition, convenience, being “right,” etc.) above people, but if we really want to be like Jesus, we need to care deeply for people, even if that means making big changes and inconveniencing ourselves. Anyway, I’ve got a lot of those kinds of thoughts rolling around in my brain right now. I’m still trying to figure it all out (what it means practically for me), but its all good stuff.
